#24 Day (Wednesday, 14 February 2018)

                
       Happy Valentine all !!! Okeee finally came to the end of the program but it was not the end to stay in touch with each other. Arrive at the closing ceremony but before leaving for the closing ceremony I and my friends are busy taking care of our gear and following the valentines in elementary hehe. Until noon we went to the Lingayen to follow the closing ceremony. I and my friends prepare poco-poco dance performance and dance gymnastics I do not know what title hehe ... Until arriving at the Lingayen it turns out we were late from Bayambang after we came the new show started. At the closing ceremony, we sang the national anthem of each and got the greeting from some of the top brass. Then look at some of the performances of a Pangasinan State University. Until the peak of the event that is the distribution of awards for each participant SEA TEACHER san and SEA TVET. After all the events after the event is over, we show our performances all free to dance and the show becomes very relaxing. after the entertainment is over there are several photo sessions together. Then parting with each department be it high school or elementary. it becomes a very moving moment.

       After the event was finished unexpectedly it was already dark and we were waiting for our arrival until we were hungry and wanted to have dinner. We also ate at mcdo for the umpteenth time. After finished our meal back to our dormitory and rest. There are some of my friends preparing for our move to Indonesian embassy dated 16 February.

 

 

#4 Week

#22 Day (Monday, 12 February 2018) – 23 Day (Tuesday, 13 February 2018)

     Monday and Tuesday is my last day teaching. I taught the same time between Monday and Tuesday, at 09:15 am in class 5 teaching english and 10.15 am teaching english also in class 2. No break for rest, because after teaching in class 5 I immediately rushed to class 2 for teaching there. And Alhamdulillah I finished earlier than my friends, because my friends can schedule teaching during the day and there are even hehe afternoon. All smooth and I surrender to God.

      On Tuesday is the last day of self report collection and student form. I panicked because I have not printed the documentation I need. And ma'am Sally is waiting for all our documents. Finally after teaching I rushed to finish all the documents needed, finally finished maghrib Alhamdulillah. It is the end of our duty and Alhamdulillah I got a pretty good value in teaching that is 3.36. are you surprised or not I got that grade? If I myself wonder why can get the value that I am very thankful hehe thanks a lot for my mentors and principal Mr. Buted.

#21 Day (Sunday, 11 February 2018)

     Yippiiiiiiiii !!! The holidays have arrived, although a little sad because this is our last week in the SEA-Teacher program, and today we are on holiday to the area of ​​Baguio which is famous for its mountains and has cold weather. We left very early at 4:00 am using the van and together with our friends who teach at San Carlos and also the SEA-TVET participants. We arrived in Baguio at 10.00 am and visited Burnham Park and also traveled there. I guess the temperature is really cold I've brought my jacket but it was not as cold as I think heeemm, cooler the peak area in Bogor compared to Baguio. In Baguio I tried Baguio customs and took pictures around the lake, after which we searched for souvenirs we would bring to Indonesia and then bought Shawarma for lunch. What a wonderful meal.

     After that we headed to The Mansion which is the residence of former president of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos and his photo do photos, I was very impressed with the house because it has a very large size, after that we headed to Botanical Garden after that we returned to Bayambang and to the hostel at 11:00 pm.

 

#20 Day (Saturday, 10 February 2018)

       Back again to meet with the holiday that is Saturday but for me as if there is no holiday because have to work 4 lesson plan to teach next week. And designing media to teach on Monday. And have to do self-report and daily activity oh my god it makes me dizzy and stress because I including people who are easily panic and stress, forgive me, my friends. until midnight I just do my job although sometimes I relax while watching a movie together in room 1 hehe. And play uno together until one of my friends helped me make a student form, thanks a lot, Fakhri (UII) who have helped me and Rifki (UNJA), Adrian (UNILA) and others who have been both staying up till midnight, even until the morning hehe really like that moment.

#15 Day (Monday, 05 February 2018) – 19 Day (Friday, 09 February 2018)

Okay this is a thrilling week for me. Why? because this is the time I teach uuuuhhhh really thrilling because I will teach elementary students with English hehe ... Different from my friends who teach Indonesian in Indonesia. My first day teaching, I teach English in class 2 at 10.30 am, honest 2nd graders are adorable and very active. However, it's a bit hard to get along with them, because I'm not a patient person, but I try new things that go into their world :) and Alhamdulillah all smooth even though I do not know how grammar in my pronunciation hehe.

       After the first day I taught on Monday continued on Tuesday my second teaching schedule that was not too thrilling because yesterday I've been through it hehe ... But a little thrilling because this time I teach math with English, this is the only eye the lesson that I took his schedule only one time teaching from 9 times hehe the rest I teach English😆😆 this time I was teaching math in grade 3.

      The third day I taught in grade 3 with an english subject. And teaching at 02.00 pm is a very unhappy time because it is time to take a nap but what can I do, finally I teach and make media hehe. Because what I teach is elementary then I have to provide learning media fun and funny but still there is material in the media.

    Okee for thursday I teach english in class 2 and they are getting fun. I love and love them wholeheartedly. With the same hours as my first teaching. In the Philippines the daily schedule of lessons is different from that of many Indonesian students in elementary.

       Yeeeaaayyyy this is the last day I taught this week, I thought this was the last day I was teaching, it was not because maam sally asked elementary to add teaching hours because still less time to teach we only 5 times teaching. so it's still there in the next week. On friday I teach in class 3 english must be subject. They have started to understand me but it was my last day teaching in grade 3, because for next week i taught in grade 5 and in grade 2 stays with english subject, because my mentor know i just want english subject not with others even though i like math but hard to teach math with English pronunciation hehe sorry me Ms. Lilibeth.

#14 Day (Sunday, 04 February 2018)

       Sunday is the time to rest and I look around the dormitory my friends are still sleeping soundly. they played uno until 04.00 pm while I was sleeping soundly then so I was up in the morning. I'm hungry because no one is cooking, while I can not cook hehe. Finally I invited my friend Indy (UNP) and Fakhri (UII) to CSI to buy some snacks and lunch at mcdo. After that we went back to the room and i prepared lesson plan for teaching in the third week, really dizzy thinking of lesson plan haha ​​but we have to pass it and do it even though many revision hehe. And all came back just like washing clothes and seeing my friends cook for dinner and then sleeping soundly.

#13 Day (Saturday, 03 February 2018)

       Yeeeaayyy meet the holiday again 😁 holiday this time maam sally scheduled we went along with SEA TVET. We went together to the mangrove cultivation center in Bolinau, where we saw many plants and there must be beaches to grow water plants. Some of my friends are directly planting mangroves, I do not dare because I do not bring panties and I can not travel with wet pants. again I became a photographer for my friends. After planting, we got a seminar on mangrove, although I do not understand about biology but what can make it hehe.

       After from mangrove cultivation, we went to hundred islands waaahhh when I saw it I really fell in love with that beach. I walked nonstop to the beach even though I did not swim hihi.

       After tired of playing on the beach we are getting ready to continue our journey hehe. This quiet friend is a very tiring and fun vacation hihi. We went to the souvenirs of the hundred islands and the place was very fond of friends with a beautiful evening atmosphere decorated with very beautiful lights it was a very sweet place to visit. After finished buying our souvenirs back to their respective places, but our friends from Urdaneta come home with different vehicles because it is a different destination. And I got to a dormitory at 12.00 am it was very tiring and fun anyway. I love that moment.

#2 Week

#8 Day (Monday, 28 January 2018) – 12 Day (Friday, 2 February 2018)

       Previously I told you about this week, this week me and my friends from the elementary observations in the class that we will teach remain in the classroom until 04.00 pm and the break at 10:15 and 12:00 to 1:00 pm. And you know? my hobby is eating snacks haha maybe it's weird because my body is still skinny not fat, but that's the reality. My habit every finish of observation always go to CSI haha and always buy snacks until my friends wonder to me. Maybe this week just be my observation routine and go to CSI.

#7 Day (Sunday, 27 January 2018)

       Yuhuuuu ... Today is the day that eagerly awaited me and my friends. happy holiday .. We went today to the beach Dagupan, I do not know the name of the beach what is important beach is located in Dagupan hehehe ... Really fun there, we bbq with Mr. Arman and the other I do not know whose name he is. We bbq fish, chicken, and definitely meat but the meat we use is beef yaaa, we Muslims do not eat pork. There we joke together, have fun together and surely we have some swimming and some just play water and take pictures together for sure.

       But unfortunately, I was not there when the photo together because I'm a photographer. After enjoying playing at the beach we moved the bow to the mall that was there to buy souvenirs but I did not know going to the mall so I do not bring hahaha dressing clothes while my clothes are very messy and a lot of sand in my pants. After we took a walk in the mall we went back to the hotel and rest.

#6 Day (Saturday, 26 January, 2018)

Today is freeday, no class to observe. No plan to do, and no food to eat because we can’t go anywhere if we go alone, must be assist by buddies but lucky we have a restaurant here so we can order some food to eat. But as you know, in the restaurant there a wifi therefor me and my frineds always stay there till midnight.

At noon I slept and I woke afternoon. So I go to CSI market for buy some snacks for tomorrow . cause mr. Arman said we have to prepare our snacks for our trip tomorro at Sunday. After maghrib prayer we went to swimming pool then we swam there. After that I got my dinner with boneless bangus, I think that like Otak-otak the traditional food from Gresik and after that I continue my routine activity, make story for blog. 

#4 Day (Thursday, 24 January 2018) - 5 Day (Friday, 25 January 2018)

       Alright, today we woke up early than tomorrow, because yesterday we late to observe the class, we went to school at 07.15 am. After arriving, we headed to Mom Aida canteen, she served Lomi, just like a noodle cooked by egg and chicken liver. My observation schedule is on 8 am so I go to elementary with the other my friends are teach in the elementary and pre-school, they are First (CMRU), Ira (UNM), Ilpake (UNP), Adinda (UNLAM), Winda (UNP), and Hanik (UNY). The other my friends are teach in the high school have to prepare their lesson plan cause next week they will be teaching. We are not get the buddies yet, i don’t know why. And my schedule from Thursday 25 of January till 3 of February just the same. I and my friends who teach in the elementary only observation till the second week.

       My schedule of observe are 08.00 am in the grade 3 the subject is math, 10.15 am in the grade 2 the subject is english, and at 02.00 pm in the grade 3 the subject is english. My subject only math and english because the principle ask us for choose from 3 subjects english, science or math. Then I only choose math and english. Every Monday till Friday in the second week my schedule only observe and stay in the class.

#3 Day

We continue the story with my third day. Just short okee ....

       On my third day, I went to the elementary for observation even though we had not got a schedule yet but the principal asked us to attend the ceremony at sd. Then I and my friends who teach in sd and preschool participate in the ceremony. You know? Ceremonies in the Philippines are different from Indonesia, maybe Indonesia only every Monday flag ceremony and there is a flag raising Indonesia Red and White, but in the Philippines and more precisely at Pangasinan State University in sd held a ceremony every day. It's just that every special ceremony with all the students of Pangasinan State University while Friday-Friday sd party held a ceremony where only sing the national anthem and promised then gymnastics. Incidentally, Wednesday is not a joint ceremony then we participate in the ceremony in the elementary building. After the ceremony was over, we rushed to the elementary principal's office with my friends. In his office, we shared our schedule and what subjects and classes we would teach. After that, we were reminded to follow the daily ceremony and observation from 08.00 am - 04.00 pm although it is not the lesson that we teach, we have to stay in the class and can only rest if it is break time. But for the observation begins tomorrow hehe.

       We were introduced to each class that we will teach each. And we introduce ourselves to that class. Likewise pre-school, because of pre-school one building and one department with elementary. After being introduced to each class, we were allowed back to our dorm and we rushed to rest hehe.

#2 Day

Okee today is my second day to do SEA-TEACHER program and then after the opening ceremony, on this second day I and my friends do an observation to high school and elementary accompanied by maam Agnes. But before we observe as usual we have breakfast at maam Aida. Breakfast at ma'am Aida is nice because it provided milk or coffee with him for us hehe. After that I and my friends rushed the observation because we are late hihihi ... the first place we observation is high school and there we met with high school teachers even though I have definitely taught at sd because of my study program of primary school teacher education but I love being able to observe high school. First, we came to a high school office and then we gathered in one of the high school classes to share our teaching and observation schedule, but it turned out to be a different elementary schedule. We have not been able to get our schedule to teach in elementary. So me and my friends who teach in the elementary just listen to maam Agnes when handing out schedules for those who teach in high school. After the schedule, we rushed to the library where elementary and high school teachers and staff were waiting for us. Then we introduced one by one and forward to the front one by one although my name left to be called huhu a little sad I try to believe myself.

After the introduction, we rushed to the elementary and saw every class starting from grade 1, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, pre-school up to grade 4, 5th grade and 6th grade. In the elementary building was class 1 - class 3 different building with grade 4 - 6th grade. Foolish elementary students. Well, the name is also elementary, must be excited and active. After completion of observation, we went back to our respective dormitory to rest, because it turns out to be tiring also around campus Pangasinan State University Bayambang. Then I got my lunch being a hihi dinner because it was too tired maybe hehe.

#1 Day (Monday, January 22, 2018)

The Governor Of Pangasinan Office

       Hello, world !! I woke up in the Philippines now actually at Pangasinan State University Bayambang. This is my first day to start my program and I woke up early cause I need to prepare anything for welcoming ceremony and met with the governor of Pangasinan. For meeting with the governor we use our culture costume. And before it, I and my friends took our breakfast time and the dish is Bangus in Indonesia we usually call it Bandeng. After it, we went to the Capitol cause the governor of Pangasinan office is there. The Capitol was very beautiful the location nearby the beach, place at Lingayen which is famous with fish production, therefore our dish from ma'am Aida it's not far from fish because it's too difficult for looking for a halal food. Just want to tell you, now we are placed at the hotel because the dormitory is occupied by the teacher who has an agenda for a week and we will transfer to the dorm at 29 January my roommate Hanik Siti Marzuqoh from Yogyakarta State University.

Welcoming Ceremony

Oh, I forget lets we continue the story, haha, after visiting the Capitol we went to Lingayen Campus and gathered at main building to Opening Ceremony with the President of Pengasingan State University, something shocked me that the president is still young, I think his age is 30 or 32. But the important thing is we got a free lunch, yuhuuu I save my money hahaha J . Then I and my friends sing our song that “Indonesia Raya” and I felt I wanna cry huhu, its too sad sing Indonesia Raya in the other country. So, We saw the performance from PSU students, Pinasu’an is the dance by the candle in the heads dancer, and also owe seen other traditional dance while we ate. We heard a speeches from the president, the coordinator of the program, and also the expectation from the participants, Indonesian speech given by Hanif, a participant from Jambi University. Oh I forgot something, SEAMEO has two programs, first is SEA-TEACHER that I joined that, and second is SEA-TVET and this programs like an international internship for ASEAN. After Opening Ceremony we went to Bayambang Campus to our homestay.

       About the food, especially for us as a Moslem, we need to be careful when we want to buy some food we need to ensure that food is halal. Alhamdulillah, we have maam Aida as a chef for us. She knew that we can’t eat pork, bacon, and everything that’s forbidden for us. And also about the prayer, Philipines, especially in Bayambang, is dominated by Catholic so we can’t hear adzan as a reminder for pray. So we need to know the time for prayer, and Alhamdulillah the people here are tolerance with the other religion especially for us. So when the time is come we just ask them the place that we can pray there. Oke guys that's my first day at the Philippines. Do you still curious about my journey?
